« on: April 11, 2015, 03:11:45 am »
same situation with my baby, he is 7.5month, I think he is lsn too, could you suggest a routine for me? he fight the 20 min nap around 16:30.

early waking and night waking in past months. and if the moring nap 45min or 30 min, the noon nap will only be 1hr and 20in,  and he fight the nap around 16:30, so he is very tired around 18:00, which result in early get up.

Gejun can I suggest you start your own thread on the EASY board, including what a typical day and night look for you right now?  That way you should be able to get some individual help :) let me know if you need any help to do that, and welcome to the forums!

E:14:40 formula
E:17:00 solid
E:18:30 formula
bed time: 18:40 since he is obvious tired without a consistant noon nap and fight a cat nap.

whatever I do , I cann't get a consistant long noon nap , he always cry from the nap, which result in he always tired around 18:00.
sometimes the noon nap is short, he cry at night but could resettle by himself.
today, he wake at :5:30 then fall sleep several mins later, finally wake 6:35, the moring nap from 8:52 and i wake him 20 mins later.
the noon nap from 12:03, but he cried at 13:38 and wake, i think he will too tired to bedtime 7:00, so make a 20 mins nap from 16:55, i put him down at 16:30, but he is not tired. he always fight the last CN if the noon nap longer than one hour.

Hi again I'm going to ask somebody to create a new thread for you with your posts :)

It looks like you are not aiming for a typical BW style routine.  At this age we would usually aim for two long naps, one in the mid-morning and one in the mid-afternoon.  If you want to stick with a short morning nap and aim for a lunchtime long nap that is fine, that works for many babies, but bear in mind that most mums here (and so the bulk of experience) will not be with that type of routine.

My instinct would be you are going for the lunchtime nap far too late after a short first nap.  I would try closer to a 12/12.15 start if you are sticking with this routine and see if that helps.

Alternatively I would suggest trying a more BW style routine.  So leave to sleep at the first nap, then do a full A time (around 3h-3h15 might be typical at 7 months) and leave to sleep again for the second nap.  You will probably have to slowly extend your first A time if you do that aiming for a 1.5h+ first nap and similar for the second.  Day could look like:

WU 6
Nap 9-10.30
Nap 1.30/45-3/3.15
BT 6.30ish
