Help with 30min nap extension: 3.5 month old
« on: May 25, 2015, 08:18:28 am »
Hi there,
My daughter is 3.5 months and I can't get her through the jolts at 30min mark. The shsh/pat doesn't seem to work or maybe I am not doing it the right way. She seems to fall back to sleep butthen in some 5-7 min wakes up totally and I am having a hard time putting her back to sleep with pu/pd.

How long and how exactly should I help my baby fall back to sleep at 30min?

Please help.

P.s. We are just starting EASY and are on a schedule for now.

Hi, 30 min naps at that age were often OT for us or discomfort!

Can you post your EAS?

To extend naps I would apply pressure with one hand and pat with the other and stay there for a good 10 mins!!
