Do you wake from naps?

Happy problem, I know!  ;D

But do you wake from naps if they go over 2h? I have to wake DD2 at least once a day. I usually wait 2h30 to wake her.

At this age I woke Ben up after 2.5h and when he was like 2m old I started waking after 2h.
It's so hard to wake them, right? I hate doing it :(

I was trying so hard to get longer naps, that now our AM nap is almost 2,5h and afternood dropped to 30min. I am thinking of waking my DS, because he 1) cries a lot when i try to put him down for his second nap 2) gets OT before his NS:(

I wake at the 2.5 mark and always have.  DD2 is on 1 nap now and she goes down at 12:30 and I wake her at 2:30 unless we have something that will keep us out past bedtime.  Normal she is awake anytime between 2 and 2:30 but there are still multiple times where I have to wake her and it is painful for both of us lol

I think you're asking about the 1 month old? At that age I woke at 3hrs to me make sure my LOs ate every 3 hours. I would not try for any schedule or certain number of naps at this age. IMO, Your LO is still basically in the womb.

Yes, this is for 1 month old. it just breaks my heart to Wake her! she's so peaceful when she sleeps.

Yes, at 1 month they do need a lot of sleep:) 3h is better rather than 2h.
I still have a ploblem with waking up my some when I need to. I send my DH instead. He is heartless when it comes to that:p Instead I take sitting with him when he fusses on his tummy time. Taking advantage of our skills:)

DS was a sleepy boy and I didn't wake that often. Really only if it was getting past 4 h since his last feed.  I found he never nursed well when i woke him.

When with both boys, at that age, I let them sleep for 3hr before waking.  I just figured they needed that sleep.  Now, at 13 weeks, I let DS2 sleep for 2.5hrs.

Unfortunately it is not a problem for us anymore... The 45 minute nap monster has arrived! We're on vacation now but hoping to sort this out after!
