Late evening CN or earlier BT
« on: October 29, 2015, 20:36:58 pm »
Hello!

A quick question: for a almost 5 month old who is on a 3 nap schedule, do I have to still do a CN if he woke up late and has accumulated OT? Will he just treat it as a CN anyway?
I let him sleep in until 9 (I have another thread on a different board around his NW) so I'm wondering if I do a CN at 7 or just scrap it and try an earlier BT?

How does that work without them treating it as a nap?

Hi there, I found in this situation that early BT, complete with usual BT routine was the way to go. I would continue to resettle as best you can if his little body clock thinks it was a CN. Early BT has helped a lot to knock out OT in our house. Hope this helps!
