1st nap after EW
« on: January 29, 2016, 13:12:53 pm »
What do people do about timing first nap if their LO wakes early? DD has woken at 6.15 a couple of days this week instead of her usual 7-7.30 (usually after days with more daytime sleep than usual, I think) & it's really thrown me. I don't know whether to do normal A time but then everything is early and have to squeeze in an extra nap or hope for a longer one somewhere, or to push to close to normal nap time & have an OT baby for the day (& usually next one too).  I've tried both & both throw us off for a few days.

Any thoughts?

Hi there,
Could you do something in the middle? Lets say she goes for her first nap at 10, so go 9:30 in EW days?

You can go both ways here, but from my experience guiding A time more than the time of the nap made my DS get use to EW, so we were changing that for 3 weeks:/ I would personaly do middle solution. Gradually extend A time to shift her back to normal.

Do you know why she EW? Do you wanna write down your day for me to look at?
