Waking WAY too early
« on: May 20, 2016, 08:50:03 am »
My almost 2.5 year old is waking up btwn 4-430!  He takes a 1.5-2 hour nap, goes to bed around 7pm, has blackout shades and a noise machine.   It's not loud in the house but he just wakes up screaming asking for us or to get out.   Please help!!!

Typically 12/1230 for up to 2 hours.

Could be time to start capping it a bit and pushing it a bit later.

Hello and welcome to the boards  :)

It does look like that he is getting too much day time sleep now and it is robbing the night sleep.

My DS was well on his way to dropping the nap at that age.We are down to a one hour nap by then I think.

I would try capping the nap by 15 mins and se how that works. If you still get NWs then cap by another 15 mins  :)
