Cows milk

Hello, can you remind me at what age babies can have cooked cows milk eg homemade rice pudding and porridge. I know they can't have a drink of cows milk until over one year but presume they can have the other from 6 months or the start of weaning if earlier? Thanks

I wouldn't use cow's milk in cooking under 6 months. Advice is to start solids at 6 months, if you start solids earlier for some reason I would suggest cooking with breast milk or formula rather than cow's milk until LO is a full 6 months old.

The recs are different in different places - where I live it is 6 month and up in cooking and 9-12 months as a drink.
