Breastfeeding 6month old and EASY in the heat
« on: September 15, 2016, 14:45:55 pm »
Hi

I'm starting to move my DD onto a 4hr EASY but I have some questions about feeding and the weather, I'm in the uk and we have had some horribly sticky days and nights 30+ indoors and out. I'm just wondering what you guys would suggest regarding waiting 4hrs for a feed.

I'm currently trying to wait 4hrs but some days I find myself feeding her every 2-3 hrs. Should I be offering water in addition to meal times as my LO is also currently on breakfast and lunch solids.

Thanks in advance :)

Extra breast feeds are fine. You can offer water now too if you think LO is thirsty rather than hungry and you don't want to feed every time. It's starting to cool off now so shouldn't be an issue much longer.
