14 mo WT 3:45am!!! Help please!
« on: January 04, 2017, 11:27:36 am »
My almost 14 month old has been waking between 3:45-4:30 am every day for the past 2 months. Do we need to switch to one nap? She was going to bed at 7 but we moved it back to 6 and she still is waking at the same time. Her schedule is:
awake at 3:45-4:30 (if she wakes up before for 4:30 I leave her in her crib, she is usually crying the whole time)
Nap at 8:30 (anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hour naps. Average is 1 hr naps)
Nap at 12:45
Bedtime routing at 5:45
In bed by 6:00
Sleeping usually by 6:15

Hiya, ugh that is early!! But that early nap is the issue here, you need to push it later and cut it shorter and work towards one nap in the middle of the day.  Have you read the 2-1 post on the FAQs?  Sorry can't link it from here but will add it later if you are struggling to find it x

I can't find the FAQs. I was thinking she may need to transition but she sleeps so good during the day. It's all so confusing. Thank you for your help!

From 2 to 1 nap transition (10-12m and older)

She's likely sleeping so well in the day to make up for lost sleep at night :) let me know if you have questions after you've looked at the link x
