2 week old constant feeding
« on: April 06, 2018, 13:00:02 pm »
Hi everyone!! Wow! It’s like I’ve never been away!! So, I have a 2 week old DD who has been doing a great job feeding, been going about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs in the day, gained weight really well so I’ve been letting her go at night, she’s been waking after about 4 1/2 hrs, so far so good, until today!!! Wow!! She’s been fussy and crying nearly all day, and on the boob nearly every hour! She had a longer stretch this afternoon but apart from that, it’s like an all day cluster feed!!! Is there a growth spurt at this age?? I just need to know im doing the right thing by letting her feed so often!! She’s usually super chilled so all the crying has thrown me a little!

There are so many growth spurts and mental leaps at this age they all seem to merge into one sometimes. Do you follow the wonder weeks?

What you describe sounds like very normal newborn behaviour so I'd just cuddle up and feed, feed, feed.
