Quick 2-1 question
« on: April 22, 2018, 05:31:33 am »
I’m just checking, the plan is to move nap1 later and later and keep shortening the cn, also moving it later?
One nap comes at A5h and that just feels a looong way off but fitting in the cn is getting hard.
Our easy
WU 8am
S 11.40 - just shifted this from 11.30
I let her sleep however long she wants, usually 1.5-2h
WU 1.15
Cn 4.30-5.00
BT 8.00
2nf

She’s fighting the cn,only got her down at 5 yesterday.
So would I try apop the cn at 4.30 or do a later one but shorten it to. 20min?
Or do I wake her from the long nap after 1.5h to fit the cn in? Although I’m a bit hesitant to do that because I’d like her to have one uninterrupted nap.

Ooooh hate nap transitions lol, with my first I did long nap am never capped unless over 2 hours then 15 min CN in car about 3.30pm but with my second he worked best with CN 20 mins 9.30an then long nap 12.30 for 1.5/2 hours.
If she refuses CN just bring BT 30 mins earlier!?

Ok, option 1 will work best I think. I have to pick up DD1 in the afternoon so up to now I have been sticking the baby in a pram and walking the 40min it takes to get there while she does a 30-40min cn but with this recent increase in A time, her cn would now move later and she’d be woken by screaming kids at nursery after 20 odd min of sleeping.  But if that is long enough for a cn, I’ll stick with it.
Somehow DD1 was easier because she did 11h at night not 12, so it was easy to fit things in and with the cn got short her nights increased to 12h on their own.
I guess I could wake the baby early but to be honest, I’m really happy she does the 12 h because of the 2nf we still have.
Thanks!!

Sounds like a plan, I’d much rather have 12 hour night.
DS1 was always a short night sleeper but DS2 at 27 months does 12 hours and recently decided he’s not napping  ::) so we’re having to force CN x
