Stopping Cluster Feeds
« on: April 26, 2018, 13:01:07 pm »
Hi! Hoping for some help. My baby is now 12 weeks. We have been doing EASY from the beginning. He is currently on a 3 hour easy usually starting at 7:00am. He is not very good at napping during the day, but if I remember correctly from my last 2, that will get better. In the night he was sleeping until 3-3:30, sometimes 4 and then not waking again until 7 (or later if I need to wake him). I am still doing cluster feeds at 4, 6, and 8 after which I put him to sleep. I feel like he needs to go to bed earlier than this because he is tired. But the last couple of times I have tried to cut out the 6:00 feed and move one to 7, he wakes at 1:30 and 4 and is fussy all night. Is there anything I can do to cut this feed to try to move his bedtime earlier? Do I just need to stick with the cluster feed if it means better night time sleep? Thanks for the help.

Yes I'd stick with it if it's working. Sounds like he's doing great.
