8 week old. Do I unswaddle during night feeds?
« on: March 21, 2019, 16:59:26 pm »
My 8-week old has been on EASY since we came home from the hospital. She is doing pretty well with naps and nighttime sleep, but my question is: when she wakes up in the middle of the night (still happens 1-2 times), should I unswaddle so that she’s not using the breast as a prop to fall asleep? Or is it okay in this situation to leave her drowsy during feeds (almost like a dream feed) and then lay her down right after I notice she’s done feeding and has fallen back to sleep?

At night I'd just keep doing what you are doing. If she is falling asleep from awake during the day then she has the skills.
