We're still on size 1 with the hole enlarged with a toothpick. She seems satisfied with the flow rate, and when I did try a size 2, it all ran down her neck and she chocked a bit. I would change if your lo seemed frustrated while feeding, as if he/she can't get it fast enough. You can always switch back.
