Won't Eat
« on: October 23, 2005, 04:52:48 am »
My DD is about 4 1/2 months old and is fed 4 hourly. She is woken at 7am and feeds, but then for her 11am feed she will not eat. She may drink about 50ml and then an hour later she will eat a bit more.

Should i just feed her what she wants then? For other feeds she will usually drink 150 to 200 mls.

We have decreased her dreamfeed in the hope that she will increase her day feed but this has not happened.

The BW doesn't go any more than 4 hour EASY - is this always the case or can they eventually go longer between feeds.

She is having 5 feeds per day.

I bf my almost 5mo & he is on 5 feeds/day & roughly 4 hour easy, what I notice is he eats less at either his 11am or 3pm feed almost every day.
As long as all the other feeds are fine, I wouldn't worry too much.
She would be getting about the right amount over 24hours
