Co-Sleeping & Naps...
« on: October 27, 2005, 01:34:25 am »
Hi there,

New to the board, looks like very informative. I had a question for those of you co-sleeping.
When did you transfer baby to his/her own bed?
While co-sleeping, where did you put baby for naps? Your Bed or the babies crib?

TIA :P

I did co-sleeping for the first 4 months.  To help with the transition I tried to do naps in the crib.  I also laid her in teh crib to play during the day so she would be comfortable in there and know where she was.  I started out where she would start in the crib and then around 4 when she woke up I took her to bed with us.  Then I started putting her back in teh crib after she ate.
Good luck with the transistion.

I'm going to suggest you pick up a copy of Tracy's first and third books at your library if you haven't already. There are specific suggestions in the books for making the type of transistion you are asking about.

And also, moving this to the general sleep forum. Hopefully you will get more answers there!

How old is your lo? I think part of it depends on the temperament of your baby too!
