My daughter is three months old is drinking eight ounces per feed, but all the books say she should be drinking four to six ounces. Is she drinking too much formula ?

How many feeds does she have? Up to about 40oz a day is considered "normal"...

ideal amount of formula is 150ml per kg. (2.5oz per lb)... so if that's the range ur lo is taking... then its not too much

:D
I believe babies will stop when they are full.  The only time I really think they may be getting "too much" is if you are using the bottle to get them to sleep, thus they inevitably get the milk  :D
