night wakings, ? night terrors
« on: January 03, 2006, 17:00:42 pm »
Afternoon,

My son is having issues with waking up in the middle of the nite.  Can anyone answer this question for me.  Does 9 month old have dreams or night terrors?  Last night  he woke up shreaking at the top of his lungs like he had a bad dream.  We gave him H20 in a bottle and got him back to sleep.

*personally* i think they can have nightmares... and with that kind of crying, i'd definitely go in and comfort him & send him back off to sleep.

however, might he just be calling for the bottle?  dunno if that's something he's used to, or if you just started it now because of the sudden screaming...

could also be early separation anxiety.  i know luke has a horrible scream when he's in the middle of that....

okay, i'll stop rambling now  :P
