so I was wondering if the formulas all taste different??  I am using enfamil lipil right now and i think bella really hates it!  and since she is eating solids do i really need the lipil part?? for awhile she was on horizon organic formula and she seemed to like it and it costs alittle less as well.

Hi  :D
Formulas definitely have different tastes, if she likes the other one better I would switch back.  The lipils aren't necessary per se. They are added to better simulate breastmilk.  I stopped using the lipils at 6months as they recommend breastfeeding until at least 6 months.  Here, the lipils add to the cost.

HTH  :D

formulas seem to have different textures so i would imagine they have different tastes.

enfamil is really chalky, while the no name brand seems smother.  if that makes any sense.

the public health nurse told me that as long as the formula is iron fortified then it's good, brand names don't really matter.  but i know the advertising is hard to ignore.

well i switched to Nestle with the comfort proteins and she did okay with it today, not much only about 10 ounces but we are having other issues witht that anyway.  my sister said that the nestle one is good for reflux babies, its gentler on their tummies.

Hi!  The Good Start is gentler on the tummies because the milk proteins are partially broken down - so easier to digest.  It is what we used for the majority of the time also...   :D
