How long to keep the food in the fridge before it goes bad?

Hi,

How long or how many days after making veggies, like squash, broccoli, etc. do you keep the food in the fridge and feed it to your lo before you should discard it cause it's too old?

hi ther,
I will only keep a meal for 24 hours. If there's extra,I usually freeze it even is I want it within 24 hours, as they are quite small amounts so defrost quickly.Hope that helps,

I think  i heard on the third day throw it away. I usually stick to this rule even with my own left overs, if I don't use it by the next day, the third day I'll throw it. This only applies to food that has been coverd and storred in the fridge.

I threw it away after the second day, so I guess like Travis's mum, I threw it on the third day  :D

I maxxed 2 days. For larger amounts I froze or deepfroze mealsize portions.
