Baby not so interested in milk feeds
« on: January 15, 2006, 02:17:42 am »
My son is 6 months and 1 week old. He has been breast feed up until now when we have just started formula once a day. He also started solids about 4 weeks ago. He loves the food and is taking 3 feeds a day with relish :D but he does not seem to be feeding long on the breast. A normal day goes like this

6:30 Wake breastfeed
7:30 Cereal and fruit
10:30 Breastfeed (replacing with formula)
12:00 Vege's or fruit for lunch
2:30 Breastfeed
4:30 Vege's or fruit
6:30 Breastfeed
7:30 small top for bed

Is he having too much of the solid's, so he is cutting back on the milk? We feed him until he has had enough ..... some advice would be great. Thanks
Nothing is forever so make sure it is good!

About how much solids does he eat per meal? You might try cutting back on his solids intake and see if that makes a difference.
