Anyone use the Whittlestone expresser? or recommend a pump?

Hi Ladies

Just wondering if anyone had used a whittlestone expresser breast pump and what you thought of it. I've read that I works differently from "normal" breastpumps in that it doesn't use suction. After being hooked up to the industrial milking machine last time with the whole relactation saga I'm keen to find a breast pump thats not quite so painful!

love
Marie

Well, I don't know what a whittlestone pump is and I've never tried an electric pump - all I used was the Avetn Isis and despite the constant creaking during use, I found it really easy to use.

BTW, how's your mum doing?

Thanks for asking :)

She's having good days and bad days. She still has a dull ache at the back of her head, but the crippling headache has gone, thankfully. If she takes it easy she's okay but if she does too much then it puts her out of action for a day or two. It's absolutely killing her not being able to do much - she's a really active person generally and rarely sits still. I think she's frightened herself into taking it easy though which is a good thing. I'd like her around to see Gracie and Walnut grow up, and so would she!!
