Tofu recipes?

Can anyone tell me how to cook Tofu for an 8 month old? I just found it but I have no idea how to mix it or with what and how to givi it to her... any ideas please?

My DD loved tofu at that age. All I did was chop it up in little bites straight from the package and she would gobble it down. No cooking required. You can warm it if you want, but it's not a necessity and they seem to like the coldness on their gums.

You don't really need a recipe.

I did the same as Gina, just cut it into chunks as finger food. Sometimes I'd also coat it in dry baby cereal, wheat germ, or crushed cheerios. If you want to cook it, you can fry it on the stove in a bit of butter or oil. It can also be mashed into just about anything (yogurt, baby food, etc), or spread on toast or sandwiches.

this is my easy, lazy receipe:

1. tofu and pumpkin
steam tofu for 5 mins
pumpkin cook until tender
puree to require texture


2. tofu and salmon
steam tofu for 5 mins
i cook salmon in microwave for about 2 mins depends on the size
again puree to require texture

i normally served with some soft rice.
