This is kind of weird, maybe just a phase, so I'd like to see if anyone else's lo ever did this or does this. Recently, Xavier (19 months) starting sitting in a booster seat at the table with us, using a plate and sometimes a fork, being an all-around big boy. I like having him at the table, and he likes it too. I used to be able to give him big pieces of things - toast, apple, pancake, etc. But now, he'll hand it back to me and say 'cut cut' and will only eat it if I cut into into bite sized pieces. It doesn't matter if we're eating at the table or having a snack in the family room. Everything has to be bite sized. I wonder if he's just being lazy, since he knows I'll cut it for him; I really don't mind, it's not an unreasonable request, but I just thought it was funny.
Anyone else?
