? 4 hour EASY
« on: February 11, 2006, 03:41:38 am »
My LO has decided overnight that she no longer wants to eat every 3 hours, but rather 4 hourly. If I offer the bottle at 3 hours she pulls away or only takes 50ml, then screams. She is also only taking short naps during the day.

Has she changed to a 4 hour EASY?

I know you should use 3 hour EASY until 3 months but she already weighs 5.6kg the average weight for a 3 month old, she is only 8 weeks!

if she's hungry every 4 hours go with it.  4 months is a guideline and every lo is different. most importantly read her cues and if it's 4 hours that she will have a full feeding than so be it!  if it throws off easy because of A times, etc. it's ok to go to asaesy...aesay....whatever it may be the main point is to keep to a routine for lo so that life is predictible!  good luck!

I agree, just go with her cues and if the 4 hr works for her, go with it  :)   You may have to tweak EASY like the above poster mentioned too...as long as she isn't using the boob/bottle to get herself to sleep, all is well!!  :)
