Oh my gosh I LOVED ours for Ella - it meant better sleep for all of us.  She was a little houdini with all other swaddling but this kept her nice and wrapped until s he was ready to get out of it (at a little over 4 mo)

Definately worth the money.

thank you thank you thank you.  Jackson is such a wiggle worm and I had NO idea that we were supposed to swaddle when we got home from the hospital.  The funny thing is, is that I have 2 other children 11 and 7, so you would think that I know what to do. Thanks for your feedback!

No problem...like I said we loved it and felt it was roth every penny.  We would even swaddle her in the late afternoons when she would get fussy.  Have you read the Happiest Baby on the Block?

I am a huge supporter of the Miracle Blanket. Leah started sleeping much better when I purchased it (she was about a month old) We used it with her until she was almost 7 months old! Once she got too long for her feet to fit in the pocket, I would just swaddle her arms. It was by far the best thing that I bought for baby items - and I bought A LOT!!!!!  ;D

I havent read the Happiest Baby on the Block, but I just got the BW book today in the mail.  Do you have it?  I thought that it would have the shush pat and pu/pd methods and it doesnt?  OR does it and I havent read enough yet.  What i did was skim thru it so I could get to that method.... Im so confused as to what I should do to put Jackson down for naps.  Ithink that the blanket will help tons though, the startle reflex and all.

I'm a bit confused. Are you asking if the BW book has the shh/pat Pu/PD or the Happiest Baby on the Block? Baby Whisperer definitley does. Did you get the second book - The BW solves all your problems? This book is filled with TONS of info on these two things. The Happiest Baby on the Block is also a good read. It's philosophy is the 5 S's. Which worked well to calm my DD when she was little. As for naps, when Leah was that old I would change her diaper, swaddle her, and rock her until she was sleepy and then lay her down. I would rock while shushing and then lay her down when she I saw the seven mile stare. (When she looks like she is staring out into space - The new BW book has info on this also). HTH!

You will LOVE the second book. It is very easy to read and easy to find the information you need. She really addresses the majority of problems parents have. It's my baby (and now toddler) bible!

Also used the miracle blanket, and it was WONDERFUL.  I got it at 8 weeks, and he literally slept thru the night for the first time when I used it that evening!  I used it on our ds until 7 or 8 months, I can't remember now.  As with Leah, once he outgrew the feet, I used it on his arms only.  I unswaddled one arm when he started sucking his thumb, and then did that forever before eventually giving it all up.

But it was really worth the money in my opinion!

Good luck - and the BW Solves All Your Problems book is really great, much more info than the first!
