8 months and taking 4oz bottles?

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone else's lo only takes 4 oz bottles at 8 months??
I can't seem to get him to take more than 4oz at a time.
He used to take 5-6oz bottles and for the past 2 weeks can only get 3-4oz into him at a feeding?
As I have written other post about him still waking at night, I am not trying to figure out why anymore really just giving up on that, but I believe it is becaue he is only getting 4 oz before bed and how is that suppose to hold him, right?
I just can't get anymore into him?
Is this normal for some babies to only take this much per feeding?  I have never heard of a baby at this age taking so little?

Mine has cut back on his bottles as well.  I know that they start to drop bottles about this age, so maybe that's what he's doing.  I am going to try to move the 10:30 bottle to after his lunch tomorrow and see what that does.  He only takes 3 oz at that time anyway.  Maybe if I move it to after his lunch, but before his nap, he'll be good and full and all my problems with his afternoon nap will be solved....

Only 3ozs, wow, that makes me feel better.  How old is your lo, same age?
so in total how many ozs does he get in a day?
I knew that he would drop the amount of ozs but I thought he would drop a couple bottles and go to taking more at once and less often?

He was 9 months old on Friday.  He typically takes anywhere from 20-28 oz in a day, plus solids 3x per day.

Could it also be a nipple flow issue? My DD has been taking less since she is teething and also too distracted - just wants to commando crawl and play. But I did change from a #2 to a #3 nipple and that helped some - went from 20 ounces a day to 24-26 with the change.

We're on a #3 nipple for day and his nighttime bottle has a little cereal in it, so it's a #4.  Hadn't thought of switching...

He always eat 6oz, sometimes 5oz but for the past 2 weeks only 4 at a time.
I had one week around 6 months take he took 7oz/feeding.
I have been trying to give remander of bottle in a sippy cup, but then he seems to be snacking, and doesn't take much, also mixing some in his food.
I don't know, maybe could it be cause of everything else that is going on; he has cut 6 teeth already 1 after the other and 7th on its way, as well as learned how to sit up one week, next learned to drag himself around, next to crawl on hands and knees, then he started pulling himself up the other day and yesterday learned how to get into the sitting position from hands and knees.  It just seems it is one thing after the other.  Maybe to much on his mind ??? ??? ???to eat or sleep though night?
