Introducing a training cup
« on: March 20, 2006, 09:54:56 am »
My 14 week old is currently on 5 feeds including a dream feed at 9.30pm.  This seems to suit her hunger needs and she usually sleeps through until 6.30am with the occasioanl wake-up for a nappy change or her dummy.  She has been weaned for approximately 2 - 3 weeks and has taken the bottle with ease.  I have given her a training cup as an experiment (water) to see how she would go and she also took it easily.  I am wondering if I shoud introduce it using formula or should I wait and stick with the bottle?
Another question - she has always vomitted a lot after feeds (brestfeeds and bottle feeds) but still puts on more than enough weight.  We take her to our chiropractor and he suggested swapping to goats milk formula.  Any suggestions???

14 weeks is young but if she is taking it then it is worthwhile keeping it up - well done     ;)
