Does he drink from a sippy cup? Have you had trouble weaning him down to three feeds? My LO feeds at the same time as yours but has weaned himself and just this last few weeks occasionally drop his afternoon nurse son I figure he is gonna get there himself eventually so I'm not gonna push him to wean. If you LO has weaned himself uptill now he may well carry on doing so. Do you need to wean him quickly? Are you going back to work or just decided you've had enough? If your in a hurry you may have to go cold turkey, or just try and exchange one nurse a day with some milk in a cup and do it gradually I'd start with the afternoon one then the evening then lastly the morning nurse. If his a boobie addict be prepared for tears, your and his! Let us know how it goes  :)

Yes, Let us know what has been happening up to this point.
Has he been dropping feeds by himself? You don't need to introduce a bottle at 11 months if you can find the right sippy.
I think it will depend a lot on what kind of guy he is and how emotionally attached to boob he is. Some babies who wean at this age don't give a hoot, for some it's a very upsetting experience. The advice may depend on your situation and your time frame. He'll still need to take milk at this age from somewhere. Would he take expressed milk in a sippy as a transition?

when we weaned out LO, she was much yonger (about 4 months) but what we were told is that we would just have to keep trying different bottles until we found one she liked. What we found worked that best was the natural shape, either Gerber or Playtex. However, with an 11 month old, it would probably be more appropriate to go right to a sippy cup, but I'm assuming the same advice: Just keep trying different brands until your baby finds one they like.
