could it be nightmares
« on: April 01, 2006, 16:02:35 pm »
Hi
I'm not sure if this is at the right place but I was wondering if it is possible for a LO to have nightmares at such a young age. We have a very quiet household.
My DS is 4 1\2 months old. Recentley he's been waking at night with big cries and screams. I get there and he is still sleeping. Has it ever happened to anyone?

yes it is quite normal - it's referred to as the phantom cry.  many lo's will cry out in their sleep.  just give it a minute or two more to make sure that lo is actually awake as you do not want to go into the room and wake ds up.
