I also posted on Activity board, because I'm not sure where the change is occurring! LOL!
At 12 weeks, I found out from these boards we really needed to extend our awake time to fix our 45 minute nap monster. Since then our naps have been GREAT! He's been taking two 2 hour naps plus 1 30-45 minute catnap like clockwork. It's been fabulous.
The last 2-3 days, though, his morning nap has started to get shorter. Like 1hr30 or 1hr45. His afternoon nap stays the same. But instead of sleeping 6:45/7pm to 7am (with me having to wake him up in the morning) he's now waking up at 6:30/6:45. Sometimes I can get him to go back down to sleep, but sometimes he won't.
In the morning, before his morning nap, he seems not as sleepy. He's going down for his nap well but he's just not as fussy/sleepy as usual. So I'm wondering should we be extending our awake time more? He's awake 2 hours before this nap. Is this about right for a 16 week old? Should we be going longer, like 2hrs10, and then taking a shorter morning nap? We're on 4 hr EASY.
Here's our current schedule:

My questions are: Do you think his shorter morning naps are because we need to be extending awake time in the morning? Do you think earlier morning waking is because he needs less sleep now as he's getting older? I did feel like I was getting a big break with 4hr45 minutes of naps AND 12 hours of night sleep!
