Hi there people! I was wondering what the thoughts are regarding adding fresh, cooled breastmilk to already frozen breastmilk. I have conflicting literature on the subject and thought I would ask you all.

Pumpingmoms.org says

You can add refrigerated milk to milk that is already frozen, just be sure the amount you are adding is smaller than the amount already frozen so it does not thaw the frozen milk.

I think if it really is chilled and there's no risk you might thaw out the original milk it's OK.
