Hi! Am awaiting delivery of the highly recommended annabel karmel book but in the meantime...is it right to give 1 new food a week??? seems long time!

I gave it every 3 or 4 days. You can check out her website while waiting for the book, haven't looked at it in a long time but should give you loads of hints and some recipies  :)

I have to say that Annabel Karmel, although great in many ways, is not very cautious about introducing new foods. Her recipes move quite quickly and she adds ingredients that others say hold off on. If you have reasons to be extra-cautious it may not be the book for you. That's just my experience.

Thanx thats good to know! Thomas has bad reflux and has had gastroentiritis  badly too!

I also use the Gina Ford cook book (as well as the AK one), it is really good.

have you seen this site as well; http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/

there are tons of recipe sites on the web.
