too much variety?
« on: May 06, 2006, 15:41:47 pm »
Hi Everyone, my dd is 14.5mo. old.  She used to eat all sorts of veggies but for the last couple of months I can't barely get her to eat a bite.  I've tried lots of varieties and different shapes and purees but still no luck.  She'll eat all sorts of fruit like bannana, apple, blueberry, pineapple and grapes.  She'll even suck on a lemon :o

I was reading over some of the 13mo+ routines and it seems that lots of toddlers eat the same thing for lunch and dinner almost every day.  Do you think if I stuck to more similar meals she might eat her veggies more?

Thanks Tarri

I am not sure about the others but my little one had loads of variety in her diet; very rarelywill she have the same thing twice a week (apart from snacks). It sounds like a stage to me, maybe other mums will be more helpful but if you have always given your baby a big selection of food, it should not be the problem.
