cradle advice

Hi,
I was trying to figure out when it would be a good time to move my baby from a cradle to her crib. She will be 4 months next week and I've noticed that when she kicks in her sleep it sometimes makes the cradle move or jump. It is a sturdy wood cradle and I thought she could sleep in it until she could sit up but I'm not too sure if it is still safe for her to sleep in. Any advice would be great!

i'm not sure about a cradle... if i recall correctly the instructions on my bassinette said they needed to be moved if they could roll over or sit up on their own.
