My LO's favourite recipes
« on: May 21, 2006, 20:11:06 pm »
Hiya
Here are some of Calums favorite recipes, I keeping getting asked to post them so here they are.  The good think about them is if you batch cook then freeze or leave to cool you need to add more milk to then, so it is also a good way to get in more milk.

These recipes include the use of cheese, milk, lentils, pasta, rice, chicken, potato, etc.  I have also included another attachment (see funfirstfoods) it is a booklet, however has good recipes near the end.

e.g

I made macaroni cheese with tomatoes and bacon for my tea the other night and made a portion for Calum, although I put lots of milk in the cheese sauce when I initially cooked it, because the pasta expands when it cools it absorbs all the milk  ;)you need to add more when you heat it through   ;) ;)

Hello!  Been looking for the attachment with all of your recipes but can't seem to find it.  Is it still available?  My 10 mo is happily eating her way through anything that holds still long enough (watch out cats!!) but some new ideas would be really welcome!

Hi there, this thread is from a couple years ago and I believe the original poster must of deleted the attachment or it got lost in the new website format. She may respond, but wanted to give you a heads up that she may not visit the site too often anymore. Perhaps you could visit the website she suggests for now. HTH.

Here's my son's favourite recipe in the world.  He now asks for 'cakes' (meaning pancakes) at various points during the day.  I keep them to breakfast and pudding though (even though they're sugar free!  I'm a mean mummy!)
