Lovey... for a touchy baby?
«

I think we are going through separation anxiety, when sleeping. I know a suggestion is to introduce a lovey, but my touchy baby is so distracted by it, I end up taking it away so she actually falls asleep. Any ideas?

My SIL made sure that her touchy DS's crib sheet, grobag and blanket smelt like her. She would put lots of lotion on her hands and rub the blankets etc.... and spray herself with a little of her perfume and rub the blankets over herself. She said it helped............

Ciara used to fling any loose items around, so the velvety rabbit things you mentioned were out for us too. When she went thru a phase of seperation anxiety at bed time I put my top in with her. I lay it under her head and tucked it under mattress at either side. She eventually attached the the grobag that she slept in from 5 mths or so ... and still carts it around with her.
