when to give tuna?
« on: May 24, 2006, 19:09:42 pm »
can I give my lo canned tuna...he's 9 mo.  Anyone know?  I don't have any particular reason, just variety.  DS eats just about anything and loves new foods so I want to introduce him to lots of stuff early on so he doesn't get picky like me.   ;)

I just wanted to add something about tuna, that was on the news a couple months ago.
On the news they were saying that tuna is really not that good for you anymore because of the mercury levels in it now.
Im not sure if I would worry to much about it, or if it is a huhg deal yet, but I just wanted to bring it up just so we can be aware of it.  I am gonna do a bit more reading on it when I get a chance.

How do your LO's like their tuna prepared?  I haven't introduced fish to DD's diet yet, I guess tuna is a good way to start.
