Hello.

Our DD is BF.  For the past 2 months, I have been back to work and lucky me I got my period back.  This month (tomorrow if my timing is right) I will get it again and today, when I looked in the mirror - before I fed her and right when I woke up - I noticed my BREASTS are DIFFERENT SIZES!!!!!!!  I never noticed this before!!!! 

Could it be my period?

What should I do?

Does it even out?

ARGH?

Also - has anyone GAINED weight after the stopped nursing?  I lucked out and lost all the weight after only 3 weeks...and in that time I was pumping and ready to STOP nursing...so I almost dont attribute it to the nursing.   I am going to continue nursing till the end of the summer when I return to work - I teach - but I am worried that I will  go backwards - what has been YOUR experience after weaning?

I went back to pre preg weight after nursing. In fact, i think i had lost most of the weight before I had weaned her. Breasts can get lopsided bc of the feeds and engorgement. :)
Its not likely bc of your period.
probably doesn't help much but i had crooked boobs too at times  ;D ;D

I can still tell which side I'm due to start on by the size of my breasts. Endless source of amusement to dh  ::) I'm getting concerned that I'm going to start piling on the pounds as bf winds down, I kind of enjoyed being able to eat as much cake as I wanted and still loose weight. Have to start watching out again I guess. Boo hoo!

Haha that is funny. When I was out in public with friends, they all used to laugh their butts off at me bc I would say Madelaine needs to be fed-then I would grab both boobs and have a feel. I knew which side bc of the size too LMAO
WEight watching sucks-i cheated and had a tummy tuck :-[
Still can't eat all the cake I want LOL

I no how you feel ;D ;D

When I had my DD I only fed of one side and ended up with smaller boobs after I finished than what I had when I was pregnant.

2nd time around really tried hard to have both side even and when I put my DS onto a bottle was doing it really good,then woke up one morning all milk gone,un even boons and even smaller again.

My DH says he will buy my Breast implants if I want when I loose my weight.I want to be able to wear nice bras and not have water ones on all the time.

I had a friend who would ask her LO  "would you like a snack or a meal?"  Referring to her different sized boobs!! haaaaaa

I refer to my right breast as my "BIG PRODUCER" since it has been continually bigger the whole 8 months we've been breastfeeding.  I have tried nursing more on my left to even them out...but it didn't work.  Oh well....at least the general public can't tell which one the "BIG PRODUCER" is! haaa

Oh geesh.

I am glad that so far - we have been able to do bottles and the breast.   I have never notivced the smaller boob size - and I AM worried about wether they will be way small when I am done - ugh!!!!   

As far as the weight loss - I went down past my pre-preg weight...I gained about 35 and lost 45  - but I think I had started off a little "fluffy" - anyway - I am where I want and I want to stay.  I know when I am done BF I wont be able to eat what I want as I do now..I eat things I would never have eaten before - not even when I was pregannt.

I have also been one to forget which boob I fed dd on last. I tend to grab them and see which one is fuller to "help" myself remember  ;D
  I have also begun to notice (since dd is taking in a bit less milk since we've started solids) that I am beginning to pack on some pounds.  I also lost all of my pregnancy weight after about a month post-partum.  I have been fortunate enough to be able to eat whatever I wanted. I feel that wonderful time of eating all my favorite foods and not gaining is quickly winding down!  :'( :-[ :'(

Shelli - darn it all.....I knew I;d have to start to watch what I eat.    DD is eating solids and I have PMS - bloated and ICK.  Thanks for the reminder to watch the JUNK FOOD!

Yea....I am concerned that when I completely quit BF that my boobs are going to look like saggy sacks of skin! Disgusting...I know! I was a perky 34C before having DD, then I inflated to a 36D!  That was nice...I always wanted boobs that big! But now....the are so soft and squishy after I breast feed! I dread when there is no milk in there anymore. What will I do??   ;)  I will have to buy some miracle push up bras until I get pregnant again. After babies...I might just have to pester my DH enough so he will let me get a boob lift/job!! ;D

I am so looking forward to getting in to a nice sexy plunge bra - if there's anything left to put in it and I'm not so wobbly and flabby I can't bear the sight....

Just to scare y'all -  my mum was a respectable 34c and is now after 3 kids down to 32aa  :o  :o

I could scare you even more. I was 32d before DS and now I am 34G. :o Yes I said G.

My boobs have always been different sizes but especially when I was feeding. They are more noticably different now than before DS though. And I have definately put the weight on since stopping feeding >:( but am trying to get it shifted.

I was just loving my new breast size. I was a respectful size 34B what am I going to be non existent!?! >:(  Great just great ;D
