I think some of you may remember my THOUSAND questions re:DS refusing formula, well I just wanted to let people know that fingers crossed, things r on the up! After 4 months of struggling DS is MUCH better! In retrospect, I really think the reflux was the main prob and what I have decided was 'bottle phobia' played a huge part. Anyway, if i can help anyone out there who is going through the same thing, let me know!

hey lauren!
long time no hear! we moved to a new house and dont have an internet connection yet!
What did we do differently? WHere to start??? well my ped basically said to let him go hungry! That sounds harshj but when she assessed that his weight gain was good and he wasnt dehydrated she said stop pushing him, we may not be able to work out why he wont take the bottle but there must be a reason. so we let it go, for a few days he seemed much happier than he started taking his night bottles better so I fiugred maybe sleepy was the trick. SO i offered him a bottle before naps and bed when he was already dozy, it seemed to work! Also when he got onto solids he suddenly took bottles better! In retrospect i thinkt he relfux was the real issue but trick was not to force him anymore as he had got used to me forcing it and ped reckoned he was 'feeling' hungry ever!
MAke sense??
