Baby food in jars
« on: July 31, 2006, 15:01:31 pm »
Hi
Im cooking most of my baby foods but I would like to have the option of using jars when we have to go out for the day. Can you please recommend what brand should i buy? Can I use half of the jar in the morning and the other half at dinner time? I live in Canada. Thanks!!

Hi, my doctor said they are pretty much all the same.  Look on the label and make sure it just has the food and water, no additives or sugars.  I personally like to buy organic, especially when we start meats, but thats a preference.  So long as you refridgerate inbetween, you can split the jar, no problem.  I actually give half a jar one day and the other half the next day.

Good luck!  :)
