My DD is almost 9 months old and she is well established on 3 solid meals a day. She eats a well balanced diet with all food groups covered (except meat) and she eats LOADS!
Anyway, I decided to drop the milk feed after her morning nap and replace it with a (sugarfree) yoghurt. She doesn't seem to miss it and I wondered if this seems ok to everyone or if it's too early to drop a feed.
I should give you details of her other feeds... my LO usually wakes at about 5.30 and I feed her and she goes back to sleep til about 7. I usually offer her boob again then if she didn't nurse for long during the early feed. She sometimes takes more but not always. Her next milk feed is now after her afternoon nap at around 3/3.30pm, then she has milk before bed at around 7pm. So she is getting at least 3 good milk feeds in addition to her 3 solid meals.
