How early is too early for a bed?
« on: January 10, 2007, 21:19:53 pm »
My little boy is coming up to 15 months old and I feel instinctively that he is nearly ready for a bed with a side rail. He comes into my bed every night anyway and I have a side rail on his side so he's used to it. He generally responds well to not being physically restricted (he had to move out of baby room at nursery a few months early because he coudn't stand the small room). He's been walking since 10 months and is a good climber. His big brother has a great bed which is a very low full size single bed.
Has anywone moved their toddler into a bed this early? Any views?

This is from the frequently asked questions and has loads of info.  If after reading it you still want to switch, Katet has a diary going that might be useful and I made it a stiky on this board. hth
