Hello.  I am still breastfeeding my 14 month old , David, 3 times a day.  Long story short, we are going out of town for a wedding and he will be staying with my parents.  He will miss 2 maybe 3 feeds.  He has never taken to a bottle.  I haven't pumped in almost 6 months (was barely getting anything then.)  Will leaving David for over night and that many feeds affect my milk supply?  Should I pump while I am away from him to keep supply?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.
Kris

I would tend to think that missing 2-3 feeds will not harm your supply.  I would suggest that you bring along the pump just in case you get uncomfortable.

Good luck and have fun!

Proud to have breastfed for a combined total of 35 months

Ditto.  Also keep in mind that some women wean, then go back to bfing and still have milk - you don't dry up overnight.  But definitely bring the pump - you might be surprised at how full you get without him!

Sorry for the delay, but I wanted to thank you both Rachel and Erin.  My milk supply always seems so low, I had no idea that women could wean and then start back, WOW  :o
I just hope the LO isn't too upset about missing a few breastfeeds...
