Need help extending A time for 4.5mnth old
« on: March 15, 2007, 00:24:54 am »
My 4.5month old just can't stay awake past 1 and a half hours without getting really upset.  I tried some quiet activities, but this just makes her more sleepy ???  This is of course then coupled with 45min naps due to her not being tired enough....  which makes her staying on a 4hr EASY virtually impossible.  Even EASAE is hard as the Eating invariably coincides with her sleep!!!

Maybe I'm not playing with her properly if you KWIM?

Can anyone help?

HI Efka - thanks for responding.  Since this post she now is up for up to 2hrs, sometimes longer in the afternoon.  She has 45min naps, and am working on them.  I ended up extending the A time with more quiet things and seems to suit her.  It just kind of happened one day and she has been on longer A time since - weird.

Again, thanks for responding (I'd forgotten Id even posted this)
