Which bottles and teat size are you using? Have you tried moving up to the next one, maybe it's not flowing fast enough for him anymore and he's getting frustrated.

Hi I am using Dr Browns bottles with first size teats....I hadnt realised that they could become frustrated and this would affect how much milk they took...sound thick dont I!

thanks for the reply

No problem, it may not be the answer, it was just a thought - I hope it is that simple! We use Dr Brown's and my 18 week old has been eating more since we changed up to no3. You will know if the flow is too fast, watch out for choking and milk escaping from the sides of his mouth, now I'm probably stating the obvious!

Hi Karen
Definitely sounds like teat size needs changing- Just bear in mind when you change to a faster flow it might well take a couple of days before he gets used to it- dd was always really dribbly at first whenever I changed it, so don't be put off if it's messy the first few times!
