Hi everyone! Don't laugh at me too much...
I have scoured the internet over this question, and can't find the answer, so I'm hoping all you experienced Moms can help!
We have been using the Playtex Drop-Ins disposable system with our (almost) 9 week old. We have had the greatest success with less gas and less "overflow" so we've been very happy...
So here's my question... lately, she has been inverting the nipple when she drinks. Eventually, she can't even suck out of the nipple because it is literally sucked inside itself. When I pull it from her mouth, it draws air back into itself and creates a lot of bubbles. I guess she is creating a vacuum.
So what am I doing wrong? Depleting too much air from it before beginning her bottle? I usually push the air out until the formula reaches the top of the nipple.
Thanks for your help and for not laughing <too> hard at me!
