12 week old waking in night

Our 12 week old son has started waking 2 or 3 times in the night. I know that he is possibly going through a growth spurt but he doesn't always want food. I believe that he is waking because he is trying to break free from his swaddling, however when I try him without  swaddling he just screams and can rarely get himself to sleep. If he does, he wakes after 30 mins screaming and cannot get back to sleep.
We put him into his cot from his moses basket 2 weeks ago and this was relatively easy at first , I just wonder if this has something to do with it and if it is then can someone suggest how to help him along.
He is taking at least 35oz of food per day. He weighs 12lbs12oz at present. Help am very tired.

Jilly, can you post your daytime schedule. How many naps & how often, bedtime, etc... How often are the feeds?
Does he have a paci? What do you do when he wakes at night? Is he crying or just fussy/mantra crying?

Well after all that he seems to have sorted himself out. I think it was all because of a growth spurt and he was finding it difficult to settle.
