Dr Brown's bottles leaking... anyone else?
« on: August 13, 2007, 04:38:38 am »
I find it very strange but our Dr Brown bottles leak! I make sure no milk is in the inner compartment (by loosening the lid) and then I tighten it but it still leaks a little bit. I don't fill it up past the line.

Any suggestions? I'm sure it's user error because it happens even with the new bottles. I'm about ready to contact the company!

This happens to me too! It's not all the time and I can't really detect a pattern. It's so annoying though! Let us know what you find out.

When you heat the bottle the milk goes up the middle part. Laws of nature ;) so I did the same thing - I took them off completely when I heated them. I give her cold milk now, though.

I'm not going to use these again if I have any more kids. Pain in the you-know-what to clean and the leaks do not endear them to me either. >:(
