Amy - I would definitely keep to 45min cn, it seems you had an ew today because her pm nap was a bit long.  Hopefully today goes well for you so she can get back on track :)

Sabrina - I think you need to give one nap a go :)  We had a very similar night right before I decided to give it a try, and it worked like a charm for us.

Claire - Sounds like you had a rough morning :(  I had so many troubles with Lyanna's sleep at first, and we always go through rough patches where I just don't know what to do.  Every month she has a big leap in A times, so for us it always comes down to increasing A time or decreasing sleep during the day.  And I always feel like I'm scrambling to keep up.  Are you expecting him to have any more teeth soon?  I know Lyanna rubs her face a lot, and rubs all over, when she has another round of teething starting...she's also a clingy cranky pants, but I always have to wait until she's had three yawns before I put her down for sleep, otherwise it's a big fight or a short nap :(  You know your little guy best, and he may be OT...BUT I think he would have caught up on sleep after his long nights that you got him to do this week, and I think our little babes are more adaptable than we give them credit for  ;) I don't think you are a bad mom at all, and I'm sure no one else here thinks that either.  I'm glad you are going to get some time away this weekend, sometimes I think that we just need to be removed from the situation so that we can a) stop analyzing the heck out of it, lol AND b) alter our approach or way of thinking if needed...IMHO I think any of us who are having bt/nw/ew problems needs to step back and change our mindset from "How am I going to get my LO caught up on sleep, get rid of OT, etc." to "How am I going to help my LO change their daytime sleep habits so that they can get good night sleep" (because really, that's what we want, some good nighttime sleep, and we may have to endure a little tiny bit of OT while our babes adapt to a new schedule). Kinda like you have to switch from trying to treat the "symptoms" (OT caused by ews/nws) to trying to treat the "disease" (incorrectly structured daytime sleep), if that makes sense.  And again, I think you are a great mom, sometimes these LO's are just challenging and it takes a while to figure them out...with me, it's usually when I give up that I have a breakthrough, so maybe give that a try this weekend, lol, hand him over to DH and just relax :) P.S.  Big (((HUGS))) to you cuz I think you need them  ;D

you are right! I have to wait until she is better now.  As suspected, woke up at the 40min mark and had to pat her.  Thinking of giving her a full 40min pm nap today. What do you think?

I say do what you have to do until she's better then be prepared to go for it!  Lyanna is so pooped from her teeth, I had to put her down before 3hrs A this morning...but I know I have to stay on my toes cuz when she's feeling better I have to act quickly to get her back on track before we get night time silliness again :)
